Information for prospective PhD students and PostDocs

I lead research at the intersection of composite materials, additive manufacturing, ceramics, and high-performance computing. My work focuses on developing advanced numerical models and experimental methods to understand and optimize the mechanical behavior of materials for demanding engineering applications. We combine state-of-the-art simulations using in-house developed codes Dawn and PyFEM, bridging the gap between theory and practice.

In addition to research, I teach courses related to my research: scientific computing, composite materials, and additive manufacturing. My teaching emphasizes hands-on problem-solving, encouraging students to connect fundamental principles with real-world challenges.
